Pilot won’t light

1. Pressure too low

2. Faulty electrode or connection

• Ensure the pressure is set correctly

• Check spark at electrode, if none, check lead connection. If this has not solved the problem, replace the electrode.

Pilot ignites but won’t stay on

1. Faulty thermocouple

• Replace thermocouple

Flame does not stay alight, or very little flame

1. Pressure too low

2. Faulty thermocouple

3. Excessive draught

• Ensure the pressure is set correctly

• Replace thermocouple

• Ensure you have an approved gas cowl fitted correctly
